Sing Up support
- Developing musicianship | Sing Up – this toolkit gives primary teachers ideas and resources to support pupils understanding of beat, rhythm and pitch.
If you have a Sing Up subscription, there are units of support in teaching and learning ukulele, percussion or recorder as a whole class. The units features:
- Introductory and inspirational videos
- Worksheets and posters
- Warm up activities
- Instrument specific support
- A range of songs to suit beginners, intermediate and more advanced player
Charanga support
In Charanga there are a range of instrumental units and schemes to use to teach whole class instruments. On your home page, click on ‘Instruments’ tab and then scroll down to the bottom of the page to find ukulele, samba, recorder, guitar, violin and mixed instrument resources.
Dorset Music Service Support
Dorset Music Service have their own resource videos which can be used with classes to deliver sessions. These resources are hosted on the Charanga platform so you will be asked for your Charanga username and password to access these:
