Music Hub Membership – SEN Settings

This membership is for Dorset schools who are in the Octagon Music Hub area.

Introducing our 2025/26 customized support package for SEN Settings, designed to unlock your pupils’ musical potential. Membership allows access to vital resources and CPD, bolstering your school’s music program. With thousands of pounds worth of resources and support included, it’s a budget-friendly option – even if you require just one service – and enables you to access national and regional expertise without the need to leave Dorset!

Our SEN Setting membership package includes:

Bespoke free loan of resources from the Accessible Instruments and Technology Library for the full term of your membership. Hire is subject to availability. Each hire agreement is per term with options to extend based on demand.
Instruments include; Orba 3, CMPSRs, Finger drums, Clarion licences, Oddballs, Arcana Strum, portable digital drum pads, midi keyboards, headphones and more!
Accessible Instrument and technology training online sessions
Access to other specialist CPD based on needs identified in your SMDP
Access to Music and Wellbeing resources
Access to tuition subsidies for under-resourced pupils*
Unlimited check in meetings and support with the SMDP

SEN Setting Membership cost: £200 (Price shown is net, VAT will be added to your purchase if applicable).

Please note, you must check out your purchase on Nexus for us to deliver the support to you. We will not begin your support if the package is just in your basket and cannot guarantee that late bookings will receive their full package.

Your membership package will run in line with the academic year 2025/26 and can be purchased via Nexus from April 2025. If you are an academy, you can still purchase membership now and you won’t be charged until your new financial year.

Whether your school purchases membership or not, you will automatically receive free access to:

  • Support writing and reviewing your School Music Development Plan
  • Locality events for your pupils
