What’s included in the set?
Each Soundbop comes with the device, 8 coloured bops which form a scale from low to high and headphones. There is a headphone splitter so more than one child can play on each Soundbop or collaborate with other Soundbops in the room. They are fully battery operated (and will arrive fully charged) with a battery charger provided should you need to recharge the batteries.
What else might you need?
You may wish to use a speaker to amplify the Soundbop.
How is it powered?
Rechargeable batteries are included in a screwed shut battery storage on the unit. Each Soundbop takes 4 AA batteries and come with a battery charger to charge the provided batteries as necessary.
How to set it up
Check the batteries are charged, then take the device out of the case. Add the appropriate coloured ‘bops’ to the pegs.
Quick start guide
Place coloured bops on the device according to the sounds you want to use. The bops can be placed on any peg but need to be fully pushed down. You can stack bops on top of each other to play more than one sound at a time and create a chord.
Press the blue button on top of the pegs to make a sound. The further apart the bops are, the easier it is for children to change between them.

Accessibility
This device is suitable for any child who can use their hands. The pegs can be pressed gently or hit with hands depending on how far apart you place the bops making it adaptable for children whose motor skills are not fully formed yet to fully engage with the device.
Storage requirements and dimensions
Store in the case provided an away from direct heat and liquids. A group of Soundbops would be delivered in a plastic crate which can be used to store the instruments in when not in use. The dimensions of each Soundbop are: L33cm x W17cm x H5cm.
Why should you use it?
Soundbops are very simple to use meaning a stress-free way of giving children opportunities to experience music technology. Children will love being able to make music straight away with little instruction from adults needed.
