What else might you need?

You will need a tablet or phone with the ODD app downloaded to use the ODDball.

How does it charge? Does it use batteries?

ODDball does not use any batteries and charges using a USB cable.

How to set it up:

  • Download the ODDball app
  • Turn the ball on by bouncing it
  • Go to connection menu in the apple and connect
  • Go to loop menu in the app, turn on Hypersensitivity

What do the LED modes show?

  • Connected = steady on
  • Waiting to connect = blinking
  • Charging = breathing
  • Fully charged = steady on and bright
  • Needing to be charged = blinking

Quick start guide:

Download the ODDball App

  • Available on iOS and Android.
  • Search for “ODD Ball” in your app store.

Turn On & Connect

  • Open the app.
  • Enable Bluetooth and pair your ODDball.
  • The ball will blink when connected.

Choose a Sound

  • Browse the sound library in the ‘create’ section and download
  • Select a preset or record your own.

Start Playing

  • Click on ‘your library’ and find the track you wish to play
  • Bounce, tap, or shake the ball to trigger sounds.
  • Experiment with different motions.

Record & Share

  • Use the app to record loops and tracks.
  • Share your creations with friends or the ODDball community.

Accessibility

The ODDball is designed to react to movements, even very gentle ones. The ball is fully customisable to meet the needs of learner’s motor skills by programming the ball to respond to gentle taps, shakes or throws. It is very durable and can withstand frequent throwing onto hard surfaces.
